Search-box entries, such as a name, phone number, or address, are sent to the provider that operates the results function. Vernon Township Residents Directory does not retain a copy of those search entries on its own servers. If you contact us, we receive the contents of the message and use them to respond.

Security and Retention
The reference uses an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only for the operational purposes described here. It has no visitor accounts, so it does not maintain a password or account profile for visitors.
Visitors Under 18
The reference is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. Contact us if you believe such information was sent to us, and we will remove it where applicable.
Your Privacy Choices
The New Jersey Data Privacy Act, P.L. 2023, c.266, establishes rights and universal-opt-out concepts for covered processing, enforced by the Attorney General and without a private right of action in the cited provisions. Because this reference keeps little visitor information, a request ordinarily concerns a contact message or retained technical information. Send a request through the Contact page. Government records held by New Jersey, Sussex County, or Vernon Township custodians remain outside our control and must be addressed to the originating office.
